SlideBoom Presentation

I think the presentation with PowerPoint is more effective than video. It brings the lesson before the students eyes by providing larger visuals along with text. The video version is ok to use if the learner is sitting at the computer and researching the information for themselves. I would prefer seeing the text where I can take notes rather than hearing the video. The images I used provided students with a view of what they were using everyday. They may have seen these tools on the computer but never knew their names or the purpose of the address, menu, tool bar, etc. The addition of text adds to the message being portrayed in the images. It explains what the images talking about which is the sharing of knowledge. Students can use SlideBoom to search and share presentations with other people. These are live PowerPoint presentations with animations and narrations. They also can learn new information by searching for informational presentations. I don't see myself using SlideBoom alot to share presentations with friends, but I am glad I learned how to add narrations to PowerPoint. This will definitely be a handy tool I can use in the future.
