What a great way to remember what was read and recommend the book to other people. I can see this as a valuable tool in the classroom and in someone's personal life. In the classroom, students can keep track of all the books they have read and their favorites. LibraryThing is like joining a book club online. Students can share books with their classrooms while adding reviews and recommendations. This could be a way to really get students reading. They can also know who is reading the same books they like. Students could create graphs to see which books are being read the most and the least. LibraryThing is a great tool for people who love reading books and join book clubs like Oprah once had on her show. I can see the benefits of using LibraryThing in and out of the classroom.
